8tracks - Best Playlist Radio App Reviews

hope you can open the app to the rest of the world, as before

The app is more personal than most other music oriented ones Ive seen and works just as well as the site. Its well designed and organized so everything is easy to find and get to. The only problem is the ability to cast my music to my Chromecast or Apple TV doesnt exist like it does online.

I use this app on my iPad and it never rotates to the direction I have it facing. Very frustrating. Otherwise, I like it a lot.

I love this app dont get me wrong, but they changed it so you cant listen to a playlist more than once for every eight hours. Which is a drag because if I like something I want to listen to it on repeat. So its quite a pain. But other than that and not being able to add playlist to your "collections" on this app is also not my favorite thing. I really want to save a few playlist for later and I cant so, maybe fix that in the future? Thanks

It was good, I used to use it all day everyday but now you can only listen to a playlist only once every 8 hours!!?!?! Its such a pain please fix that

I loveeeee this app! Have been using it for several years now. I recommend it to everyone I know and they love it as well. The new update is extremely disappointing, it was already limiting that you could only skip 3 songs, per playlist but now its 6 songs per hour?! Please listen to the users change it back!!!!

Cant sign in to my account anymore due to bugs. Also losing all those cool songs I came across in my travels since I cant access it. App wont even open anymore. It completely bugged out and would not let me exit the app- I had to restart my phone to stop it from freaking out. I keep coming back because I loved this app for so long, that I keep having high hopes it will get better. But, every time Im reminded why I deleted it the first time. Only listen to a playlist every 8 hours? I can understand royalties and cost, but that seems a bit ridiculous. Its a major deterrent against the app now, along with the cut skips. I get it, I do, but you have to meet people halfway here. Compromise! I still love the playlists that people make and the music I find via the app- but the apps layout makes that once upon a time relaxing process just a chore. The sad part is theres no other music apps I like as much as I used to love 8tracks. I wish we could have kept that love strong but everybody changes, I guess. Bye, 8tracks, for the final time. I wont be downloading or using it again until I see your reviews improve. Hope you can figure yourself out, buddy.

Never done a review before on an app. Liked this one enough to feel the need to. Selected a few tags and found quite a few playlists with the type of music that I love to listen to most. Which being a user of pandora or songza now a part of Google play I was limited to fewer artist variety and Id already heard the artist or songs usually many times before on places like soundcloud. I love this app. The skip limitations arent my favorite. Its glitched a few times. I dont care. I will always be a user of this app. Great concept. Thank you.

I love the app but theres a few problems. A) Wheres the time? Like how long a song is? B) I need to listen to these songs with out Internet. We should be able to download them so they are saved

I like how I can literally search any key word depending on what Im feeling or what I am doing and find a playlist for that and plus its fun to make playlists

its not even supported in my country anymore? I love this app very much, as its very useful if I need to look up songs I like. But ever since the recent update, for some reason, the app bugs constantly and switches playlists randomly, even when I skipped a song only once. This is quite annoying but I still love the app nevertheless. Please fix these problems and make it available and accessible in my country please. Thank you for the hard work.

please go back to the old 8tracks where we could listen to a playlist more than once. also, whenever i try making a playlist on the computer, the songs i want never come up, please fix this or at least make it so i can make playlists on my phone

I had this app for a while. But now it doesnt even play anymore. And it restarts a playlist over. No matter how many times I reset the app. Songs dont play.

Im so disappointed with you alienating the majority of your users.. Your haircut not sure if thats new but it doesnt fit u

8tracks went from being one of the best music apps to an absolutely useless one. Such a disappointment

i really loved 8tracks it was my favorite app ever but now i cant even use it . I WANT THE OLD 8TRACKS BACK

I want to find new music, and hearing lists only made by North Americans is not going to expose me to nearly as many artists. Not to mention, Ive had weird problems making playlists that I cant find help for. Its sad because I like this app a lot.
