8tracks - Best Playlist Radio App Reviews

I am in love with this app. Music is a very big part of my life and 8Tracks helps me fulfill that. I listen to music that I dont hear on the radio and there isnt many ads. I can play music I love when I want and other songs/genres that are actually related to what Im listening to. Im very impressed with this app, its free and doesnt hassle you with premium upgrades this and that or annoying ads every 30 seconds. Definitely 5 stars from me. I recommend downloading this app if you listen to music a lot.

Normally I rate this app 5 stars (well maybe 4 for the phone app versus 5 for the full online version)...I absolutely love 8 Tracks for my listening purposes. Its the best app for it!! Unfortunately somewhere in the last couple updates something is off where it will no longer play music. I have full confidence this will be fixed soon...I cant wait because Im seriously missing 8 tracks right now!

Some people, even a friend of mine have been talking about how it doesnt work on their phone anymore. My friends will give them a message saying that its no longer available in their country. Mine doesnt have those problems, though? I think the app is pretty great. The only annoying thing is that I have to unlock my phone to favorite a song or playlist. I would appreciate if those options were available from my lock screen? Another thing, it seems like you cant add anything to your mix lists or create your own playlists on the app either. And if youve already listened to a mix it wont even let you add it to the Listen Later list so you cant really save anything for future listening very easily in the app. Honestly right now the website is far better; this app feels like its kinda new and theyre still ironing out the kinks in it. I still use it personally but the aforementioned is very annoying to deal with. If those things were fixed I would have given it five stars.

This is my all-time favorite app for listening to music. There are playlists for about anything you can think of, thanks to the ability to make your own playlists. Its brilliant.

Built around one of the clunkiest principles of an 8-track cassette tape, that only fast-forwarding is allowed, this app has the classic 70s aesthetic that I enjoy. Well worth a download if the overpriced streaming services arent an option for you.

Honestly one of, if not the best music streaming services out there. The man made playlists and community based services make this app a truly admirable application! I have one concern nonetheless. I cannot seem to create or edit playlists on mobile. Follow me on 8tracks my username is MmSalad plz

8tracks has stayed the same throughout the updates. I only want the ability to create AND add to collections. It seems intuitively easier to do this in the app than on the website ... Please update. Been waiting for years but nothing close to this has even happened .

I love being able to listen carelessly and discover new music. It would be nice to be able to stream from the app to devices like chromecast.

The variety of playlists/music is great, but the app itself is pretty buggy and wont always let you listen to the playlist you want to listen to.

In the middle of songs it will just crash, does it on every playlist.

What a shame. The iPhone app no longer plays any of the playlists. Not sure if its an apple issue or application issue.

So, first off this is my first time writing a review. Ive had this app for over a year now and have enjoyed it a lot. I love the fact that I can listen to stuff I grew up listening to and similar playlists like it. Not to mention that I can listen to Nintendo soundtracks and TV shows I grew up on (which is super awesome!) That being said, Im pretty disappointed that the app has suddenly stopped working altogether. PLEASE FIX ASAP!!! 8Tracks has been super awesome up till now.

My issue about this app is I cant make my own playlist within the app. I know you can do it on computer but my computer is a piece of

as the others are saying, often it doesnt play music? i think this might be an ios10 issue though since ive had issues with other apps like youtube derivatives and even apple music. hopefully it gets fixed soon :c

I loved this site and app for the last two years. Always used it in my car. Ever since I upgraded my phone and switched to ios 10 its very hard to start playing. Now it never plays in my car. Im just going to uninstall. Nice while it lasted i guess.

1. Allow complete view of all tracks in a playlist 2. Remove the "three skip rule" I would more than happily pay for a premium version that included solely these things.
