8tracks - Best Playlist Radio App Reviews

Such a great website & app, been using it for years, probably. But some changes Id like to see in the app is the ability to rotate the app version vertically or horizontally, and the ability to create, add to, and remove playlists from collections. Thanks for all your hard work @8tracks!

Used to be a great app before they change a lot things with the new updates and still has a lot of bugs. you can only get a few skips a day. if they make some changes this would be a great music app

The app for me is working perfectly but this is mainly about making playlists, why cant we put more than 2 songs of an artist in one playlist? Why cant we put as much as we want? Like if we were going to do a favorite song of so and so singer in a playlist? We wouldnt be able to do that now can we?

This app has just gotten worse every update. I cant do it anymore. Bugs, crashes, the new 6 songs every hour rule, its all garbage. All the tracks we lost access too? Im done. Goodbye, 8tracks.

Idk about anyone else but, I see you guys sneaked ads in there real smooth. I was tolerating it until the option to close out the ad disappeared. I was hoping 8tracks would be the one music app that didnt incorporate ads. (At a time there were no ads)!

This app used to be phenomenal. Now it just doesnt work. I really hope you guys are working on an update. Update: Just please update this app.

I really appreciate 8tracks, it is one of my favorite music applications. Unfortunately, about 2 weeks ago, the application stopped working in my region (Jordan) and I got truly frustrated. Please fix this problem

App crashes a lot now and skips dont reset after you change a playlist

This use to be my favorite music app. I would use it every day. But now since the update every time I skip songs and go to a new playlist I cant skip any more songs even on a brand new playlist. And its very frustrating because it happens every time. I delete and restore the app all the time but it still continues to do it. Please fix immediately!!

Used to love this app but Im considering trashing it now due to new updates. You cant listen to the same playlist twice in one day. When it skips to the new playlist when one ends, it should reset the songs but it doesnt. Oftentimes I come back to the same mix the next day and it only lets me play the last song because I listened to it the previous day and the songs didnt reset. And in listening to the one ending song, I have reset the daily count so I cant listen to it again. Im sad, I used to love this app and advocate for it to friends. I wont be doing that anymore, wouldnt recommend this to anyone.

Switched to this app from Pandora to get away from their inconveniences (commercial ads, skip restrictions..) but it has taken on those same restrictions. Used to only have picture ads that you could click out of but now youre forced to watch commercials. You also used to be able to skip 3 songs per playlist but now its 6 songs per "listening session". Lame. Ill be searching for a new playlist app now. Get it back together, 8tracks.

definitely not my number 1 music app. its still enjoyable once in a while but it could be improved. also, there should be some way to queue playlists so you dont have to keep going back to the app because i know the ones i want to listen to but theyre randomly spread through my likes

8tracks has always been awesome, but now that playlist collections are more easily accessible Ill be using the app much more often! Thanks 8tracks team!

Ten minutes into using the update and I think that I can say, for the most part, it was a nice improvement and a definite step in the right direction. I like the "Listen to Later" option, Im not sure if thats new or if I hadnt noticed it, regardless; I like it. Somewhere along the way links posted in the descriptions, links to things like set lists or album art credit, have lost their ability to be clicked or even highlighted and copied/pasted, which is a bit of a pain. Im still waiting for the day where well be able to add playlists to our collections (even just the collections weve already made). It might also be nice to be able to see similar playlists in a grid view rather than individually and/or see collections that the playlist is part of.

As much as I love this app, it would be 10x better with the ability to replay songs. Is that against some "legal license" like it is with skipping too many songs, or something similar?
